Since the fall of the Assad regime, Syria has witnessed at least ten explosions at weapons and ammunition storage facilities, killing dozens and injuring hundreds. An investigation by SIRAJ uses satellite imagery to analyse the locations of these explosions, revealing that nine out of ten sites fail to meet even the minimum United Nations safety standards, placing residential areas and farmland at direct risk.
